ulat buku

This was our first time working as a partner. This project was made in 2010 to follow an architectural competition.

On this project, we designed a secondhand bookstall at the train station. The name "ULAT BUKU" was translated from english phrase 'bookworm'.

The concept of this project was reduce, reuse, and recycle. We REUSE the former railway carriage to be the book stall. The bookshelves uses RECYCLED scrap metal. And also, the bookstall itself only sell secondhand book, so thats how we REDUCE paper usage.

The following are some pictures from our bookstall. Enjoy! :)
